Queen's Parents Programme
Queen’s Parents Programme was launched in 2006 and aims to provide a direct link between the University and families of current students. Currently the parents/guardians of over 1500 current students are signed up to the programme. They receive invitations to special events including the Vice-Chancellor’s Reception for Parents and regular updates from Queen’s including:
• Discounts on events at the Ulster Bank Belfast Festival at Queen’s
• “The Graduate” - an annual magazine for alumni and friends
• Queen’s e-bulletin – a quarterly e-newsletter detailing university news and forthcoming events
• Queen’s Now – bi-monthly University newspaper
• Family Book Fund - an invitation to adopt a book from the Library’s stock of essential and heavily borrowed text books
