1973 Medical Reunion
The 35th reunion of the medical class of 1973, took place from September 21-24, 2008 at the White Point Beach Resort in beautiful Nova Scotia, Canada. It was organized by Ros Byrne (Hutchison) and husband Brian, who are fortunate enough to call White Point home. They were joined by 30 medical and dental graduates and 27 partners, many of whom included the reunion in an extended Canadian, US or even round the world trip. Organisation began two years previously, when the Alumni Office sent out the first of two mailings.
The attendees were treated to beautiful early fall weather throughout, which showed off Nova Scotia in all her glory. There were meals, scientific meetings, bus trips, quizzes, music, laughter and, most of all, renewal of friendships and camaraderie. The relatively small numbers gave the reunion a cozy atmosphere, to the enjoyment of everyone. The next reunion “event” will be in Scotland in 2013.
