Applying for Science Bridge
Eligibility
Students must be in their final year of study for a Masters degree, or a five year Bachelor degree, in one of the following subject areas:
- Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Control Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering , or related discipline
- Civil Engineering, Structures, Structural Materials, or related discipline
Students should demonstrate outstanding academic achievements and satisfactory English proficiency for PhD study at a leading UK university. Excellent references are important, especially from the Chinese partners involved in the Science Bridge projects.
How to apply for a Science Bridge Award (QSBA)
- You should first contact one of the Science Bridge Project Investigators to register your application for the Science Bridge Award

- You should contact your Chinese supervisor and apply for a maintenance scholarship (to cover living costs for the duration of your award) from the Chinese Scholarship Council. Its website is http://www.csc.edu.cn/
