At Queen’s the welfare of all students is paramount, and 24 hour support is provided by three Community Youth Workers and a team of Resident Assistants who live in residences at Elms Village, Grant House, Guthrie House, Mount Charles and College Gardens.
The Community Youth Workers will welcome you on arrival and help you settle into your accommodation. They will also show you where to go and how things work and provide pastoral care and support if required.
Resident Assistants are students who support the Community Youth Workers and the Accommodation and Facilities team in the day to day running of the accommodation. They are voluntary workers and receive free accommodation in exchange for giving up some of their time to help students.
For further information about accommodation contact www.stayatqueens.com where you can apply for accommodation online or download the accommodation handbook, "Where to Stay at Queen's 2009-2010" by clicking here.
Erasmus and Study Abroad students must make a paper application for accommodation via the International Office.
