Queen's has a long-standing relationship with Malaysia stretching back over 50 years. There are currently 140 students enrolled at Queen's and there's also a very active alumni association in Malaysia - the Queen's University Alumni Association Malaysia.

The largest number of Queen's graduates outside of the British Isles can be found in Malaysia, where there are approximately 2,000 alumni.

Queen's has a number of distinguished graduates and honorary graduates including YBM Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah, YBT Dato' Seri Dr Lim Keng Yaik and Dr Datuk Rafiah Salim.
